Breeding under the ‘Laekinoz’ prefix.
After much searching for an adult female Laekenois, I finally realised a dream – in the shape of a Laekenois named Yschia! Friends Rob and Barb Dunlop expressed interest in also being involved in advancing the Laekenois in Australia, and that is how the Laekinoz prefix began.

About

Yschia was brought to Australia with Barb Dunlop of Erlander Kennels in Victoria.  The Laekinoz prefix was registered to mark our beginning in the Laekenois in this country. Prior to leaving Europe, Yschia was mated to Upsilon des Fauves de Saline (Upsilon now resides with Pat Morgan of Winjammers kennels in the USA).

Yschia is a special girl, particularly loved by our son Christopher who thinks the other Belgians are too ‘Pretty’. 🙂 She is a Multi BOB, Royal BOB and Specialty BOB winner and acheived her title against stiff competition. Her progeny are themselves proving great embassadors for this variety in Australia and Yschia’s puppies have become the foundation stock for other Laekenois breeders in this country.
